Looking for Sustainability ideas

I thought I find a way to keep costs down while still trying to stay eco-friendly. Trying to keep striving for sustainability. This a record of that journey.

It's your choice....

You may want to Opt out of the Yellow pages deliveries or not. For something I didn't know that the yellow pages are made from recycled newspapers and residual chips, the unusable pieces of wood that are cut off at the lumber mill when they are cutting the logs.... they all so use vegetable-based inks and eco-friendly adhesives as not to pollute the ground water

They also have a link to how to recycle your old book...

  1. I thought most people do not refer to the yellow pages anymore since the existence of internet. I remember when I was a little girl we used to have a very thick telephone directories with yellow pages in almost every household, now my sons don't even know what it is.

  2. I always mean to opt out of the yellow pages just because we barely ever use it... but then I forget and then another one shows up at our door. I didn't know they were so green though, that's great!
